Kuwait EXPO 2018 , Sustainability Seminar

Sustainability Seminar, 7th February 2018, 6-8pm
International Fairground, Hall 8, First Floor

Introduction:
The Kuwait Green Building Council (Kuwait GBC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Fajer Consultants, to bring the industry expert Mr. Steven Miller, head of Hospitality Group to Kuwait to deliver a speech on modular building systems in Kuwait. The sustainability seminar will offer a platform for everyone to connect, collaborate, share knowledge, build partnerships and create solutions for their respective industries.

Lecture Topic: Sustainable Modular Building System, Design, Manufacture, and Installation

Abstract: CIMC is the largest manufacturer of modular building systems in the world. The CIMC modular unit has been developed as a permanent mid-rise system fully furnished, structurally and MEP sound. Success is achieved by demonstrating that innovative design and patented building technology can truly alleviate traditional wasteful building techniques with shorted design and construction time and improved quality and cost. The system totally negates use of concrete, concrete block, bricks, and other very energy intense products reducing also air and sound pollution, use of water, electricity, and removal of waste products such as formwork, staging materials, wrappings, and trash. No piping, ducting, and wiring supply and waste on site for the areas of the modules.
