Role Overview
The Membership Engagement & Operations Officer plays a key role in managing relationships with Kuwait Green Building Council (KGBC) members while supporting the Council’s daily operations. The position focuses on member engagement, coordination of activities and events, administrative support, and accurate reporting to ensure a high quality member experience and efficient internal processes.
This role is well suited for an early career professional with strong organizational skills, a people focused approach, and a genuine interest in sustainability and the built environment.
Key Responsibilities
Member Engagement and Relations
- Act as a primary point of contact for KGBC members, responding to inquiries and coordinating follow ups
- Support member onboarding, renewals, and ongoing engagement activities
- Assist in maintaining strong relationships with corporate, institutional, and individual members
- Collect and document member feedback to help align KGBC programs and services with member needs
- Maintain accurate and up to date membership records and databases
Events and Activities Support
- Support the planning and delivery of KGBC events, workshops, training programs, and site visits
- Coordinate logistics including registrations, attendance tracking, venues, and materials
- Assist with event communications and post event follow up
Administrative and Operational Support
- Provide administrative support across KGBC operations, including correspondence and documentation
- Assist with basic financial administration such as invoice coordination, payment tracking, and expense records
- Support scheduling, procurement, and coordination with vendors, partners, and service providers
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Reporting and Documentation
- Assist in preparing internal reports related to membership engagement, events, and activities
- Support data collection and basic analysis for performance and engagement tracking
- Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping in line with internal procedures
Eligibility and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, sustainability, engineering, architecture, or a related field
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience, including internships or part time roles
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability, green buildings, or environmental initiatives

Technical and Professional Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

- Familiarity with event coordination and administrative processes is a plus
