Join Kuwait Green Building Council (KGBC) for an insightful session with lawyer Faten Alnaqeeb exploring the evolving sustainability landscape in Kuwait and what businesses need to know about Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and disclosure.
The session will examine Kuwait’s sustainability and regulatory framework, its alignment with Kuwait Vision 2035 and international commitments, and the challenges companies face in adopting sustainable practices. Particular focus will be given to sustainability reporting, global standards such as IFRS, and the verification of sustainability data, alongside emerging regulatory developments relevant to businesses, including renewable energy, green building codes, and green procurement.
This hybrid session will be held in person at the KGBC offices, with online streaming available, offering participants practical insights into the growing role of ESG in corporate strategy, transparency, and business operations in Kuwait.
