Wild Clay Workshop with TRBA Studio

In celebration of World Clay Day, join us in the desert for a hands-on journey of exploration. In this workshop, you'll learn how to find, harvest, and process wild desert clay using simple, time-tested methods.

In collaboration with Sara Alenezi, Judith Strawser, and Lulu Alawadhi from TRBA Studio, we'll explore the signs in the landscape that point to the presence of clay-reading soil, plants, erosion patterns, and color shifts-then gather local material with care and intention. From there, you'll learn how to process raw clay, refine it, and test its qualities for different uses.

This workshop is about reconnecting with place, understanding local materials, and discovering what the land has to offer-no prior experience needed, just curiosity and respect for the earth.
