LEED Green Associate (GA) Training

28 October 2025

In October 2025, the Kuwait Green Building Council (KGBC) proudly hosted its first LEED Green Associate (GA) Training at our new offices located in the Kuwait Free Trade Zone. This marked a significant milestone for us as we continue to empower and grow Kuwait’s community of green professionals.

Led by the inspiring trainer Razan Nejem, the three-day program attracted a diverse group of students, fresh graduates, and professionals motivated to deepen their understanding of green building principles. This session follows the success of our last LEED GA training in April, reinforcing the strong demand for sustainability-focused education in Kuwait.

The LEED Green Associate credential, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is globally recognized and provides a solid foundation in green building concepts, energy and water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and sustainable materials. It is the perfect entry point for anyone looking to build a career in sustainability, architecture, engineering, or environmental design.

All participants received a certificate of attendance, acknowledging their commitment to advancing their sustainability knowledge and aligning with global green standards.

We’re thrilled to see the growing interest in green credentials in Kuwait and are grateful to everyone who joined us in this sold-out session. Here’s to building a greener future, one training at a time!
